The strains and their corresponding GenBank accession numbers for 16S rRNA genes are as indicated (type strain=T). The tree, based on 1,251 positions, was built with Mega 4 [14] using the Neighbor-Joining method and 1,000 bootstrap replications. T. maritima was used as an outgroup.
