Different color points represent different peat depths. Peat samples from Hani, Taishanmiao, and Ruokeba are indicated by circles, triangles, and squares, respectively. The R2 values were calculated based on the regression between ordination distance and observed original distance using the Shepard plot. Dashed ellipses indicate confidence intervals of samples from each peatland determined using the t-test (α = 0.05)
