Alignment of 16S rRNA sequences was conducted using ClustalW [21], and the tree was generated using the Neighbor-joining algorithm with 1000 bootstraps, using MEGA 6 [22]. Type strains are labeled with superscript T, and the corresponding GenBank accession numbers are indicated in parentheses. Enterococcus faecium NRRL B-2354 was used as outgroup
