During the proofreading of this manuscript, a fourth Desulfitobacterium spp. genome, the first of another species than D. hafniense, got published with several of the authors involved as well. D. dehalogenans contains six putative reductive dehalogenase genes and a largely reduced genome of only about 4.3 Mbp.
