Unrooted phylogenetic network inferred with the Neighbor-Net algorithm as implemented in SplitsTree version 4.10 [52] from genome-to-genome distances calculated using GGDC [4951]. The analysis includes all completely sequenced Bacillales type strain genomes as registered in GOLD at the time of publication [31]. Here, the logarithmic version of the distance calculated as the total genome length minus total number of identical base pairs within HSPs, divided by total genome length (see Table 5), was used as GGDC distance.
