Random forest mean predictor importance (percentage of increase in node purity) of the five picked co-occurrence species for the accumulation of liquiritin (b) and glycyrrhizic acid (c). The accuracy importance measure was computed for each tree and averaged over the forest (1000 trees). Percentage of increase in node purity of variables were used to estimate the importance of these predictors, and higher percentage of increase in node purity imply more important predictors. Significance levels are as follows: *P < 0.05 and **P < 0.01
